Bull Basin Guides and Outfitter’s Williams Fork hunts take place in Grand County, Colorado, near the town of Kremmling. The property is in Game Management unit 28. This hunt takes place on approximately 30,000 acres, with several thousand acres of private land. Our private property greatly restricts public access to adjacent B.L.M. and National Forest Land, which allows our hunters the unique opportunity to enjoy the hunting on those lands also.

The property is a mix of irrigated hay meadow, western sage, aspen draws and dark timber. brush and irrigated hay meadows. The middle areas of the property is a mix of aspen, sage and dark timber.

This property has provided us with fantastic hunting for nearly 20 years, and it is not uncommon for our hunters to run into a herd of 50 or more elk, although the average herd is usually 10-20. The ranches offers very solid deer hunting, especially in the lower areas.

The Williams Fork camp is based out of an upscale outfitted tent camp located on one of our private Ranches. This Ranch is centrally located to the various private ranches that our hunters have the exclusive use of. The hunters enjoy staying in walled tents with gas heat and cots. After a good day of hunting hard on the mountain, our hunters can unwind by enjoying the hunting stories told around the open campfire. It is tough to beat this hunt for solid hunting and comfortable accommodations. Numerous options are available on this hunt to meet the individual needs of our clients, including adding guides, a cook and meals or upgraded lodging.

A guide can be a very valuable on these hunts, and several of our guests upgrade their hunt to include a guide.  We are still very helpful in describing all the ranches, how to hunt them etc, for those hunters who chose to hunt on their own. The assistance of a cook and meals can be added, and we even have access to a fully modern guest ranch near our properties for those clients who prefer to “rough it” in true comfort. Please feel free to contact us to discuss the many options and opportunities on this hunt.

Bull Basin offers a variety of hunts on the Williams Fork to meet the needs of our clients. We generally limit the number of hunters from 4 to six, and then allow them to decide on guiding, meal and lodging options. The base fee listed to the left include access to all of our William’s fork properties, and lodging in our tent camp located on one of our private ranches. Additional options and fees are listed to allow you to customize your hunt with us.

Success rates for elk and deer on our William’s Fork Hunt traditionally been better than 50%.
