Bull Basin is proud to continue to offer great elk hunting on The Pinnacle Peak Ranch. This beautiful Private elk haven is located just west of Oak Creek, in North Central Colorado. This great 3,000 plus acre ranch has been relatively unhunted for several years, and has become a traditional hangout for elk throughout the area.
Our clients over the last 5 years have had great opportunity to harvest elk on this solid private Ranch. The key to our success on this property, is in the way that we passively hunt the property, maintaining its integrity and keeping the elk where we can harvest them. This is accomplished by utilizing stands, and still hunting techniques, strategies that we will continue to implement in the future.
In 2010, we will offer very limited hunting on this property to maintain the quality of hunting on this great Ranch. Groups will be limited to 4-6 hunters per season, with available hunting dates listed to the left. Pressure on this property will be limited, and spaced to help the success of our clients.
Hunters have the option of upgrading their hunt to include a guide from our staff, and the hunts are based out of an upscale outfitted tent camp located right on the property. The camp includes sleeping and cook tents, cots and pads, lanterns, heaters, bbg grill, propane oven/stove, all cooking utensils-hunters bring food and personal gear.This is an ideal hunt for those with some hunting experience, and willing to share in the efforts that make hunting what it really is, a great total experience.
