Bull Basin is proud and excited to now have the exclusive hunting rights to one of the finest trophy deer and elk ranches in the world, Piney Valley Ranch. This magnificent private hunting ranch is located North of the Vail Valley in game management units 35 and 36. Very limited hunting pressure on this nearly 50 square mile ranch has resulted in world class mule deer bucks, and impressive bull elk. This private Ranch lies right in the middle of the area that has produced more Boone and Crockett mule deer than any other place in the world! In an effort to maintain the impressive quality of the bucks on this Ranch, we expect our hunters to set their sights on bucks that score a minimum of 180 Boone and Crockett! The fall air is full of the sound of big bulls bugling throughout the ranch, an experience that all true sportsman should enjoy. Our focus is to only harvest the most mature bulls on the ranch in an effort to maintain the highest possible quality of game for our clients to pursue.
Since the 2010 season our clients have experienced fantastic hunting, with 100% opportunity to harvest trophy animals on all deer and elk hunt-whether archery or rifle. Majority of the bulls were over 300 B&C, the largest was 356. Bucks averaging nearly 185, with a monster 200+ topping the scales in 2011.
Our guests will stay in our beautiful hunitng lodge located right on the Ranch, and enjoy all of the modern comforts expected on a world class hunt.

FIRST RIFLE ELK TAGS ARE THROUGH THE DRAW AND AVAILABLE WITH O-1 PREFERENCE POINTS OR THROUGH THE LEFT OVER LICENSE SYSTEM. 2ND SEASON AND 3RD SEASON ELK LICENSES ARE AVAILABLE OVER THE COUNTER.
