Bull Basin is proud to offer world class trophy mule deer hunting on the magnificent Elkfork Ranch. This nearly 5,000 acre private Ranch is located in Grand County Colorado, and includes Game Management units 18, 28 and 181.
Bull Basin Outfitters has also secured the required permits from the BLM to hunt adjacent lands to the Ranch adding several thousand additional acres of excellent hunting ground. Success over the last several years on mature trophy class mule deer in November has been a perfect 100%.
Very strict management of the deer on this property has resulted in high numbers of 170 B&C and better deer. This property offers excellent access to all areas of the Ranch for our clients to take full advantage of. Most of the property is an excellent mix of sage and aspen draws, the ideal habitat for monster muley bucks Serious mule deer enthusiasts will have a solid opportunity of harvesting bucks in the 180 to 210 range.
These are 5 day, 2 on 1 guided hunts that include an option to upgrade the hunt to include all meals and a cook. Accommodations on this ranch include fully modern lodge/ranch house facilities, perfect for hunting couples or corporate entertaining. Licenses can be secured through landowner vouchers available from the outfitter, or through the State’s drawing process in the spring.
